  Great food. Great atmosphere. BUT , the tables were not cleaned properly and as a result were very sticky , nobody really seemed to show much interest.

  I go to the Sporties most Wednesdays to have a meal and a catch-up.
  They have a wide variety of meals for most tastes. One thing I find infuriating is the temperature of chips. I always mention to the steward to annotate that I want HOT chips. About 50% of the time they are hot, so it seems request gets lost between steward and kitchen.

  I used to be a local around this place and think it's one of the nicest places in Wagga for a casual meal and drink. Great menu, tables/seating and the outdoor area has lots of light with suitable shade options. Top notch.

  Went there on a Tuesday night after a quick 9 holes and was very impressed by the friendliness of the staff and the overall experience. I ordered a $21 surf and turf and it was really good. The steak wasn't quite cooked how I ordered but it's not a big issue because it was a great cut of meat.
